1. GENERAL POLICY

uc-me provides digital services and subscription-based access to its virtual business card platform.

By subscribing to or using paid features, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.


2. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION

2.1 User-Initiated Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support.

2.2 Effect of Cancellation

  • Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
  • You will continue to have access to paid features until the subscription period expires
  • No further charges will be applied after cancellation

2.3 No Partial Period Refunds

Unused subscription periods are not refundable, unless required by applicable law.


3. REFUND POLICY

3.1 General Rule – No Refunds

All payments made to uc-me are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Subscription fees
  • Upgrade fees
  • Promotional or discounted plans

This is due to the immediate access provided to digital services upon payment.


3.2 Exceptions

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charges
  • Technical failure directly attributable to uc-me that prevents reasonable use of the Service and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time
  • Legal or regulatory requirements mandating a refund

Any approved refund will be processed using the original payment method where possible.


4. FREE TRIALS & PROMOTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)

4.1 Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, no charges will be applied until the trial period ends.

4.2 Automatic Conversion

Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.

4.3 No Refund After Conversion

Once converted to a paid subscription, the standard no-refund policy applies.


5. SERVICE TERMINATION BY uc-me

uc-me reserves the right to suspend or terminate access:

  • For violation of Terms & Conditions
  • For misuse or unlawful activities
  • For legal or regulatory reasons

In such cases, no refund shall be provided.


6. PRICING CHANGES

uc-me may revise subscription pricing or plans with prior notice.

Changes will not affect the current billing cycle but will apply upon renewal.


7. PAYMENT PROCESSING

All payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways.

uc-me does not store full payment card details.

Refund processing time (if approved) depends on the payment provider and may take 7–14 business days.


8. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws, including Malaysia PDPA-related consumer rights or EU consumer protection regulations, where applicable.
